Julia Barnitz is the newest member of Sonoran’s GIS department. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Geographical Information Systems with a focus on Environmental Science and Policy. Upon graduating Julia relocated to Tucson and began working in the land resources field. Julia’s attention to detail and problem-solving abilities makes her an invaluable asset. Julia’s experience includes field mapping, spatial analysis, cartography, creating maps to support the land team, training associates using ESRI products, and presenting at the last annual Arizona Geographic Information Council conference.
